Centennial Park Named Among Best Autumn Strolls by New York Times

Park named in “6 Autumn Strolls in 6 Vibrant Cities” Article

A September 8, 2025 article in The New York Times entitled “6 Autumn Strolls in 6 Vibrant Cities” touted a collection of North American urban walks that “will immerse you in the colors of fall”. It cited Nashville’s Centennial Park as one of the top places to a seasonal stroll, stating, “A one-mile walking trail loops around the park’s great lawn and Lake Watauga. It is a flat, serene, winding path that takes you through beeches, elms, magnolias and willows.”

  • Arnold Arboretum, Boston

  • Stanley Park, Vancouver

  • Burke-Gilman Trail, Seattle
