Today’s Agenda
1. Collect Your Cleanup Kit
Your kit includes:
Recycled fishing net tote
Compostable liner bag (place inside tote, roll down the edges, and secure with clips)
Grabbers, gloves & hand sanitizer as needed
2. Group Photo First!
Once your kit is ready, please wait near the front of the Parthenon for a group photo before we begin!
3. Cleanup Plan
Treasure Hunt for Trash
We’ll divide into small groups after the group photo.
Each group will head to a different corner of the park.
Begin cleaning from the outer edges of the park, and work your way back toward the Parthenon.
Focus on finding small, often-overlooked litter, such as: Confetti, Cigarette butts, Candy wrappers, Bottle caps and bits of plastic, etc.
We call this a “treasure hunt for trash” because these little items make a big impact when removed!
Don’t forget to use your grabbers and gloves for safety.
Once finished, return your kit and head to the Parthenon by the times below for your free museum entry!
4. After Cleanup
Toss the liner bag in any trash can on the way back
Return the clips, grabbers, and tote to a team member
Have questions or need supplies? Look for a team member outside the Parthenon all afternoon
5. Enjoy a free visit to the Parthenon Museum
Your service today includes a free visit to the Parthenon. Group entry times are below:
Group One: return for a 3pm entry time.
Group Two: return for a 4pm entry time.
Thank you for helping keep Centennial Park beautiful!
