About OPERA ON WHEELS

This year, as the pandemic kept everyone out of the theater, Nashville Opera made plans to take opera into the streets! Working with local firm Aero Build, which specializes in customized trailers, Nashville Opera now has a bespoke mobile stage for pop-up concerts around the community. OPERA ON WHEELS will expand the Opera’s reach to diverse neighborhoods and groups throughout the area.

This fall, OPERA ON WHEELS has given preview performances for the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee at Camp Sycamore Hills and Camp Holloway, as well as the senior communities of Morningside of Belmont and Brookdale of Belle Meade, Green Hills, and Franklin. More rolling concerts are in the works!
